The composition of Troxerutin, produced in the form of capsules, includes 300 mg of Troxerutin and excipients: lactose monohydrate, colloidal silicon dioxide, Macrogol 6000, Magnesium stearate .

Composition of 1 capsule:
- active substance: troxerutin - 300 mg;
- excipients: microcrystalline cellulose - 44.1 mg, talc - 9.25 mg, sodium carboxymethyl starch [sodium starch glycolate (type A), Primodel] - 9.25 mg, povidone (Plasdon K90, Kollidon 90F) - 3.7 mg ;
- capsule shell: iron oxide yellow dye, titanium dioxide, gelatin.
Composition of 100 mg gel:
- active substance: troxerutin - 2 mg;
- excipient: sodium hydroxide 30% - 0.7 mg; carbomer 940 - 0.6 mg; benzalkonium chloride - 0.0575 mg; edetate disodium - 0.05 mg; purified water - up to 100 mg.
Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics
The product increases the tone of the walls of venous vessels and reduces their distensibility, thereby eliminating stagnation of venous blood and preventing the development of edema , reduces the intensity of the inflammatory process, and has membrane-stabilizing and capillary-protective effects .
Troxerutin takes an active part in redox processes of lipid peroxidation and hyaluronidase , as well as the oxidation of epinephrine ( Adrenaline ) and ascorbic acid .
The drug is characterized by P-vitamin activity, stimulates the processes of elimination of metabolic products from tissues, does not have an embryotoxic effect, does not cause mutations or disturbances in fetal development.
