Viral hepatitis refers to infectious diseases, the development of which is most often caused by viruses that infect the liver and lead to the development of serious complications. Toxic, infectious and autoimmune processes lead to diffuse inflammation of the liver tissue. Directions for use and dosage

The drug is taken orally.

For the purpose of contraception - 1 tablet per day in the evening (preferably at the same time), starting from days 1-5 of the menstrual cycle, for 21 days. Then there is a break for 7 days, during which, as a rule, menstrual-like bleeding occurs. On the eighth day, regardless of whether the bleeding has stopped, begin the next 21-day course, taking tablets from a new package. If you follow the recommended rules for taking the drug, the contraceptive effect of Ovidon also persists for a 7-day break.

If the drug is well tolerated, it can be used for a long time, until the woman plans to become pregnant.

After an abortion, you can start taking contraceptives immediately on the day of the operation or on the second day after it.

After childbirth (if the woman is not breastfeeding), administration begins after 21 days. When breastfeeding, the drug can be prescribed only 6 months after birth. In this case, a careful assessment of the benefit-risk ratio of using Ovidone is required, since it is excreted in breast milk and also increases the risk of developing thrombosis in the postpartum period (due to the high dose of estrogen in the composition).

If you are late in taking the next pill by less than 12 hours, the contraceptive effect of the drug is not reduced; the missed pill should be taken as early as possible and continued use as usual.

If the break between taking pills was more than 36 hours during the first or second week of the cycle, you need to take two pills at once and continue regular use as usual.

If you miss 2 tablets in a row during the first or second week, it is recommended to take 2 tablets in the next 2 days, and then continue the usual course and use additional methods of contraception until the end of the cycle.

If you miss a pill in the third week of the cycle, in addition to taking the listed measures, you should also abandon the 7-day break in taking Ovidon and immediately start using the pills from the next package.

If emergency contraception is necessary, it is recommended to take 2 tablets of the drug within 72 hours after unprotected sexual intercourse, and then at the same dose 12 hours after the first dose. Within a few days after taking the pills, premature menstruation begins, this confirms the contraceptive effect of the drug. It must be remembered that after using emergency contraception, only barrier methods (condoms) should be used throughout the entire menstrual cycle.

The method of postcoital contraception is less reliable and harmless than regular contraception; as a result, it can only be used in emergency cases.

For medicinal purposes, the dosage regimen is set individually.

Is it possible to use VIFERON 3 million suppositories during pregnancy?

The instructions for the drug VIFERON 3,000,000 IU do not contain instructions for the use of this dosage during pregnancy. When treating pregnant women from the 14th week of gestation, the drug can be used at a dosage of 150,000 IU and 500,000 IU. VIFERON Gel and Ointment can be used by expectant mothers from the first days of bearing a child

When taking any medication during pregnancy, women must keep in mind that the drugs are prescribed according to indications, taking into account the duration of pregnancy and the condition of the expectant mother. Side effects

Side effects while taking Ovidon most often occur at the beginning of using the drug and disappear after a few months. The estrogen contained in the drug can cause the development of symptoms of “false pregnancy”, which include: headache, vomiting, nausea, bloating, vaginal discharge, swelling, engorgement and increased sensitivity of the mammary glands. The presence of gestagen in the drug can contribute to the appearance of: skin rashes, depression, decreased libido, weight gain, vaginal dryness. Also, during use, intermenstrual bleeding may occur, and rarely, allergic reactions and discomfort when wearing contact lenses.

With long-term use of Ovidon, in rare cases, the following may be observed: pigment spots on the skin, acne, hair loss, dry skin and hair, increased blood pressure, liver and gallbladder diseases, increased blood sugar levels, the development of thrombophlebitis, candidiasis, vaginal mycosis.

In the first three months of using Ovidon, intermenstrual bleeding may appear, which subsequently disappears on its own. If irregular bleeding recurs or appears after previous regular cycles, you should consult your doctor to rule out possible diseases of the internal organs.

After emergency contraception, you should be examined by a gynecologist to rule out pregnancy.

The human papillomavirus, which leads to the development of human papillomavirus infection, is a large group of genetically diverse viruses containing DNA. These viruses can infect the skin and mucous membranes. Warts on the hands and feet, filamentous growths on the neck, genital warts - all these are manifestations of the human papillomavirus.

Up to 80% or more of the adult population of the planet is infected with HPV during their lifetime, and they are not necessarily infected from a sexual partner; household transmission of the virus from mother to child is also common.i The virus can also be transmitted through touching hands during greetings, during general use personal hygiene items, after trying on someone else's underwear and while visiting a swimming pool, bathhouse and fitness clubs with shared showers.

During sexual intercourse, the use of condoms reduces the risk of infection, but does not eliminate it completely. The risk remains high when the tumors are located outside the organs protected by the contraceptive. In “sleep” mode, the virus can exist in the body for many years without making itself felt. There is also a phenomenon called “self-elimination,” when strong immunity completely eliminates HPV from the body. Most often this happens to young people under 30 years of age.

Unfortunately, human papillomavirus infection is not at all harmless - HPV viruses of high oncogenic risk significantly increase the risk of developing cancer of the cervix, penis in men and anal canal. Therefore, today the search for the most effective methods for treating the manifestations of this disease remains relevant.

Only human papillomaviruses of high oncogenic risk lead to the development of cancer. Low-risk viruses only lead to the appearance of condylomas on the genitals. These tumors are not precancerous and need to be removed for aesthetic reasons.
