Finally, it is better to freeze the berries on a tray or board, laid out in an even layer. After freezing, all that remains is to put it in containers or bags. Shelf life – 6-9 months. Just enough until the next harvest. - An alternative to freezing is drying.
At room conditions it will take about 2 weeks. Therefore, the berries are usually dried in the oven or using special devices. The procedure is simple, but some points need to be taken into account. For example, the drying temperature should not exceed 35 °C for the first two hours. Then it is raised to 60-80 °C for about 50-60 minutes. Finish when the thermometer reaches 40 °C.
