Lily of the valley tincture provides a cardiotonic effect on the body, increases the frequency and intensity of contraction of the heart muscle.
Valerian rhizome with roots acts on the body as an antispasmodic and sedative. Valerian helps normalize sleep. Facilitates the onset of natural sleep. The sedative effect after taking valerian appears slowly, but is stable. A choleretic effect and activation of the secretion of the gastric and intestinal mucosa are also noted. Valerian slows down the heart rate and dilates coronary vessels. It indirectly affects the functioning of the myocardium through neuroregulatory mechanisms, also through a direct effect on the automatism and conduction system of the heart.
Menthol is a local irritant. It has an analgesic, venotonic, reflex, antianginal, and coronary dilation effect.

The drug is produced in the form of a yellowish aqueous infusion (sometimes transparent) based on plant extracts:
- lily of the valley;
- valerian;
- belladonna.
