Instructions for use of "Prolit-super" capsules Recommended as a dietary supplement for food - a source of glycyrrhizic acid, organic acids (including malic acid), tannins (tannins) and panaxosides. Helps normalize the functional state of the urinary system. Ingredients (in 1 capsule): extracts of curly silkworm leaves (Strobilanthi Folium) – 80 mg, kidney tea leaves (Orthosiphonis Folium) – 6 mg, true ginseng roots (Ginseng Radix) – 5 mg, sea horse (Sea Horse) – 5 mg , cylindrical rhizomes (Imperatae Rhizoma) – 2 mg, licorice roots (Glycyrrhizae Radix) – 2 mg. Excipient: starch – 500 mg.

Curly silkworm (Kedzhibeling) has a diuretic, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effect. It has long been used as an effective means for dissolving, preventing the occurrence and removing stones from the urinary tract. Prevents the occurrence and relieves attacks of renal colic. Contains substances that accelerate the epithelization of the damaged mucous membrane of the urinary tract and promote its rapid recovery. It is a strong antioxidant and has a pronounced immunostimulating effect.

Kidney tea (Orthosiphon stamen) is a strong natural diuretic. The diuretic effect is accompanied by increased release of urea, uric acid and chlorides from the body. Increases glomerular filtration, improves tubular function. Effective for long-term use in acute and chronic kidney diseases accompanied by edema, albuminuria, azotemia and the formation of kidney stones.

Ginseng. Widely used as a tonic and adaptogenic agent. Ginseng preparations stimulate brain activity, have a pronounced anti-stress property, increase resistance to hypo- and hypertension, have an anti-inflammatory effect, accelerate wound healing processes and protect the body from the toxic effects of certain chemical agents.

Sea Horse. Contains a complex of biologically active peptides, as well as hypoxanthine and xanthine. It has a pronounced tonic effect and stimulates sexual function. Widely used in Chinese folk medicine as a general tonic for a number of diseases, including to increase potency.

Licorice is naked. Used as an anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic agent. The mechanism of anti-inflammatory action is associated with the stimulating effect of glycyrrhizic acid on the adrenal cortex.

Imperata cylindrical. Has a diuretic and hemostatic effect. It is used for inflammatory diseases of the bladder and urethra, chronic hepatitis, renal and cardiac edema.

Recommendations for use: adults, 1-2 capsules 2-3 times a day with meals. Duration of treatment is 4-8 weeks.

Experience of using prolit super septo in the rehabilitation of patients after endoscopic operations

Numerous publications on the successful use of Prolit Super Septo (Greenwood, RF) in the metaphylaxis of urolithiasis after extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, as well as in infectious and inflammatory diseases of the lower and upper urinary tracts served as the basis for conducting our own research aimed at studying the effectiveness and safety of long-term administration of the super septo to patients who have undergone various transurethral and percutaneous interventions. From September 2012 to March 2013, 894 transurethral and percutaneous endoscopic operations were performed. The main group (n=450) consisted of patients who, after endourological interventions, were prescribed Prolit Super Septo in a therapeutic dose of 2 capsules 2 times a day for a period of 1 month in addition to standard uroantiseptic therapy. The control group (n=444) consisted of patients who, after performing the same operations, received standard therapy for the same period. When examining patients in both the main and control groups, attention was paid to leukocyturia, daily diuresis, symptoms of the disease and the quality of life of patients. It has been established that the use of Prolit Super Septo after transurethral operations on the lower urinary tract reduces the severity of irritative symptoms, improves the quality of life of patients, reduces leukocyturia and increases diuresis. The use of prolit super septo after operations on the upper urinary tract leads to a decrease in leukocyturia, increased diuresis and improved discharge of residual fragments. In patients with oxalate and urate stones, a persistent increase in urine pH was noted, which may be part of the metaphylaxis of urolithiasis. There were no undesirable effects associated with taking prolit super septo.
